Dr. Julie Pack, Chief Academic Officer, was among 39 distinguished leaders across North Carolina who recently completed the tenth cohort of the NCSSA Aspiring Superintendents Program.

Welcome Dr. Teresa Johnson Daye to Cedar Ridge High School! During their special called meeting on March 24, our Board of Education approved the recommendation by Superintendent Dr. Danielle Jones to appoint Dr. Daye as Interim Principal for Cedar Ridge High School starting April 1, 2026.

OCS was made aware of a security incident involving Infinite Campus, North Carolina's statewide student information system provider. No student information is reported as having been breached. However, Infinite Campus issued a public notice that NCDPI also shared with school districts.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, the Board of Education approved Chris Palmer, recommended by Superintendent Dr. Danielle Jones, as Assistant Principal for Central Elementary School. His appointment is already in effect, and he is helping to prepare CES for the 2024-2025 school year.
